Does my child have to have an ADHD diagnosis?

Accepted Answer

No.  As a fee for service provider, we do not require a diagnosis of any kind for occupational therapy services.   We work with a children with a variety of diagnosis including ADHD, ODD, developmental delay, cerebral palsy, Down Syndrome, and Autism.  We also help children and their families who have concerns about emotional regulation, executive function, motor skills, or social interactions but do not have a formal diagnosis.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Accepted Answer

We are certified Tricare providers.  
We accept credit cards, cash, check, and Flexible Spending Account cards.  We are a direct biller for the Family Empowerment Scholarship (formerly Gardiner).

Do you accept my insurance?

Accepted Answer

We are currently able to accept Tricare.  
For all other insurance providers, we can provide you with paperwork to submit to your insurance if you have out of network coverage.  Please email info@beachesnaturetherapy.com (info@beachesnaturetherapy.com)if you would like to ask about an individual situation.

As a fee for service provider, we are able to partner with families to make treatment plans that will help your child the most.  Insurance companies often limit where, how, when, and how frequently a child is seen.  We believe that those decisions belong to families.  We provide therapy in a holistic manner that falls outside the model dictated by insurance.

What do you do when it rains?

Accepted Answer

We play!

We will cancel or move services indoors if there is extreme weather (high winds or lightening).   Otherwise, services are held rain or shine, and the kids benefit from seeing a familiar environment in a new light.
